After the completion of the Sound Shell in 2012, our creative vision for our stunning Barragga Bay site as Nature's Concert Hall is continuing to grow.
The quality of the sound from the new Sound Shell exceeded all expectations at our 2012 festival and over this year a new performance building will be completed, The Pavilion.
But there is so much more we can do with the beautiful Four Winds site. We aim to breathe life into the new buildings and extend the reach of Four Winds across Australia and the world.
The plan is to:
- expand our outreach projects for young people;
- open up the site to a wider audience;
- provide a springboard for emerging artists; and
- give unrivalled opportunities to established artists.
We are well on our way to realising our dream - Four Winds: the heart of music making in Australia, and exciting times are ahead.
